Good News

One of the many photos taken on a day trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains - a time of refreshment and renewal - during some extremely difficult days.
Always remembering that My God Reigns and my daughter is rejoicing in the arms of Jesus!

  1. I'm touched by your photo and your words. So sorry for your loss, but blessed by your knowing her heaven joy. Have you read the true story called "Heaven is for Real?" (Beautiful testimony of a four year old who "went to heaven" when nearly dying in surgery) That book lifted my heart after my mom's death, made heaven seem just a breath away... God bless you and yours. Thanks again for stopping in at my site!

  8. Such a pretty shot.

I'm so sorry for your loss! I see Amy's photo on your sidebar. Her photo is so pretty!

We have had a few children pass away in our family. It's not easy. My mom and sister are rare carriers of a genetic condition called Trisomy 18. Losing a child is difficult. My thoughts are with you and your family.

  10. Your photo reminds me of cool mist descending upon the hills. Even though I see the sun is brightly shining, it fills me with peace. Reading about Amy brings tears to my eyes and I pray that you and your family remain confident that you will see her once again in Heaven. Yes, Anne, rejoice! For our Lord truly reigns!
    Blessings,
    Felecia

  11. Your photo and verse quotation brought me a moment of peace...just a slight sweet taste of heaven on earth. We have the future hope in heaven while we reside here on earth, but some are already tasting the full sweetness heaven has to offer. Blessings, Janice

  16. Daddy always likes to say, "I'm ready to go but I'm not homesick!" Dave, my husband, died in November 2011 and I miss him dreadfully yet, like you about Amy, rejoice he's in heaven, beyond pain and suffering.
