A drive in the country ~ Rural Thursday

This little abandoned building on the side of the road captured my husband's eye.
I wonder what it was used for?
Personally, I think it would make a great play house!

  1. Hi , I'm Anne from Life on the Funny Farm (http://annesfunnyfarm.blogspot.com) visiting from the Rural Journal.

I love that you have an Anee Shirley quote. I was named after her!

Anyway, it’s nice to "meet" you. I hope you can pop over to my blog and say hi sometime if you get the chance.

    1. Thanks! It's kind of cute and looks lonely sitting all by itself.

  6. Hi Anne
I love the picture. It's neat to think of all the history this little lonely building holds. Maybe it's one of the original Mother-in-law suites just placed a LOOONG ways from the house! :D

  10. It's charming!
It seems a little out of place with no other buildings around it so it's hard to say what its use was. A playhouse would be perfect or I'd love a little craft studio.

  13. I don't know what it is, but I know it was there before the road! It's so cute -- I'd use it for a tool shed. :)

Thanks so much for sharing at Rural Thursdays, Anne.

    1. Hey Nancy,
You know, I hadn't thought about the road situation but I do believe you are right! A tool shed would certainly be a good use for it :) I know we could use another one!
