Sunday: To See the {Son}

  1. All things bright and beautiful,
    All creatures great and small,
    All things wise and wonderful:
The Lord God made them all.

    Each little flow’r that opens,
    Each little bird that sings,
    He made their glowing colors,
    He made their tiny wings.

  2. The purple-headed mountains,
    The river running by,
    The sunset and the morning
    That brightens up the sky.

  3. The cold wind in the winter,
    The pleasant summer sun,
The ripe fruits in the garden,
    He made them every one.

  4. The tall trees in the greenwood,
    The meadows where we play,
    The rushes by the water,
    To gather every day.

  5. He gave us eyes to see them,
And lips that we might tell
    How great is God Almighty,
Who has made all things well.

All Things Bright and Beautiful (words by Cecil Alexander,1848)

Have a blessed Sabbath!

  4. Dear Anna
Beautiful pictures, but I think the creation that brought
Him the most joy was when He created man with the capacity to love Him!

    1. He certainly created all things well. Without Christ, we would have no capacity to love Him. I am thankful for the redeeming love of Jesus :)

    1. Stephanie, You are a dear! It was overcast when I took the first photo and the sky came out almost white. I have to confess that I 'cheated' a bit and added the sky. And I have to say that the Lord provides the most beautiful of scenery for me to photograph :)
