Dreary Days & Sunshine

It has been rainy and cold for days.
Not too many opportunities to take pretty pictures.
But then again, there is not much pretty to look at in the winter where we live unless it snows.
And so far, no snow. Just rain.
I feel like this plant. Withered. I need some sunshine!

So I made my own!
A nice cup of Earl Grey Tea in my own personal tea pot, given to me by sweet friend, Carrie.
A little Radiant Glow effect from Picmonkey and there you have it.
Tea, on the porch, in the sunshine.

Yep. That's the same plant sticking up there in the middle of this picture.
I didn't see it until I was editing.
Go figure.

I hope you're having sunny days.

Have a blessed day in the Lord!

  1. that is a fabulous shot of the wilted weed, such a pretty cup and teapot and may I ask why your are moderating comments, I notice this on a few of my favourite blogs lately-I just found Picmonkey and am really enjoying using it.

    1. Hi Lynn, Thanks! I thought it a rather depressing shot but honestly, the weather has been horrible. Then today after lunch, the sun comes out! Another 'Go figure'. :)

I've had several people on my Facebook mention they tried posting a comment on the blog but couldn't. The only thing I could figure is that I needed to set it to accept all comments (including anonymous ones) and I know that by doing this I could potentially end up with a few unsavory comments. I would rather not subject anyone to that. I may change it back. I've never been fond of moderating them. I know when I leave a comment, I like to see it posted right away.

Picmonkey is great! I subscribed for year after using it for almost a year on the free mode.

  2. Hi Anne, it's dreary and been raining all day here too. I love Earl Grey tea and the tea pot is so pretty and cheery! Take care and thanks for stopping by today.

  6. Yea for you, Anne! We all need to find a little sunshine on a dreary day. Some days it's easier to make our own sunshine than others. Photography and a pretty pink tea set looks like a great solution for you. :)
