By the Sea

Now that we are empty nesters, our weekend mornings are spent watching the sunrise and walking along the beach. All this free time together to explore and enjoy this next phase of life is a bit surprising as it seems like only yesterday that we were young and carefree, learning about life and each other. I'm often reminded of this Disney song we used to sing with our children when they were little.

"By the sea, by the beautiful sea, you and me, oh how happy we'll be."

Until next time,

  3. Glorious picture! I love the silhouetted shoreline against the magnificent beauty of the sun! How wonderful to experience the beauty of the ocean in this season of your life. Empty nesting is a difficult transition, but I pray that the amazing beauty of God's creation in the little place you live in soothes your soul and brings you great peace! Enjoyed your post today :)
