Blogging Break Continues & New House

Hey, Y'all! I'm sorry I've been absent for so long. It certainly wasn't intended to be this way.  I had to extend my blogging break because my husband and I closed on our new house here in VA and I am busy getting it cleaned and ready to move into, as well as packing up the home we are in now.
It's been a whirlwind few weeks but we are excited to really begin settling down here
and making VA our new home!

I'm going to miss this spectacular view the Lord has allowed me to enjoy for the past year! It's been an amazing time here on the Chesapeake Bay.

Every sunrise is different and just as spectacular as the one before!

My hours on the beach have been spent in reflection and soaking in God's glory.

I do have some things on the calendar that will be coming up (Rebecca's been reading some amazing books over the summer!!!) so I'll be back in a week or so with some reviews and hopefully new pictures of the area we have moved to.

I do hope everyone is enjoying their summer and finding rest.

May God bless you and I'll see you soon!

  4. Anne, gorgeous photos! Can't wait to see photos of your new destination. One branch of my family tree was in Virginia for hundreds of years. And it's been too long since I was there. So beautiful.

  7. Hey Ladies!!! Oh man, you wouldn't believe how busy we have been with closing on our house and then getting in there to do some 'fixer upper' projects before moving in next month! UGH!!! Surprises have put us off schedule even though we have been using almost every spare moment there to work, work, work! I hope we can manage a timely schedule so my blogging life can pick back up again. I miss y'all!!! Love & hugs!!!

  9. Hello! I came to your blog through Elizabethd (small moments.) I lived in Northern Virginia for 3 short years. I absolutely loved it and hope to land back there some day. I too am a Christian. I'll be interested to hear what part of VA you've moved to. Looks like you've left a spectacular location - I hope it's a positive change.

  10. Bless your heart Anne! I know just how difficult the moving transition can be, especially if things have to praying to the new home before moving in! I am praying for you, and trusting that you will be able to feel settled in soon! It has been such a busy summer for me as well, on so many levels, and blogging has had to take a backseat for a while, and I miss all my dear friends so much. I look forward to fall with hope that I will have more time to visit :) Hugs to you today!
