They were! I had several flocks over the years in NC and these were my last. I did love raising chickens. It's a lot of work but the rewards are worth it. :-)

Hey Julie, My dad had chickens too. It was such fun. I remember the first time my chicken "Mrs Baker" laid an egg! I was thrilled and carefully held the egg in my hands to show my mom, then my brother bumped me and I dropped the egg. I think I cried. :)

This was my last flock I raised before we moved to VA. I miss chickens!! :)
