WooHoo!!! I didn't know Nancy @ A Rural Journal had revived R5F until this morning. I'm so excited to participate in this meme again. It's always such fun!!! All you have to do is share
5 random facts about you, your day, your pets, your kids, whatever!
So here goes...
1. I love watching the sun rise each day, even on mornings like today. It was partly cloudy and the color palette was soft and inviting.
2. There is nothing more soothing to my soul than hearing the waves coming onshore.
3. I would live here forever but I have to admit I don't like sand.
4. We aren't allowed pets in our condo. Here's a little secret...I have a Beta fish :-)
5. I'm hoping for some super big thunderstorms later today. I want to practice trying to catch a bolt of lightening on film.
Happy Friday, Y'all!

I loved your five post today Anne. I too love the beach and grew up a one minute walk from the beach. I so miss that in the summertime. Have a wonderful day and weekend. :0)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Julie! The weather is perfect right now; not too cold or hot yet :) Pleasant weekend to you!
DeleteGlad to meet you again :-)
ReplyDeleteI had not known, that you are living by the sea, or make you just a travel?
The photo is wonderful.
Happy weekend
Yes, it's good to see you too, Mascha! We moved last year and are enjoying living seaside for awhile. I don't enjoy having an empty nest though :) Miss my children and grandchildren greatly!
DeleteBeautiful shot! I love to hear the water. I used to live on Galveston Island and was lulled to sleep by that wonderful sound. Now, it's the sound of traffic! I won't tell about your Beta fish! ;) ;) Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you keeping my secret! ;)
DeleteEnjoy your weekend!
Now i picture you, barefoot in the sand - capturing lightning in your bare hands . . . I know, i know - you didn't say that - still it's the new picture in my head. Happy Week to YOU!!!
ReplyDeleteUm. Barefoot maybe. Trying to catch lightening...only with my camera! :)
DeleteWhat a pretty scene. It looks so peaceful.
ReplyDeleteI love the sound of waves too even though it's a 6 hour drive to the ocean from where I live.
I'll keep your secret about the fish!
Ida, It is definitely peaceful! That's one of the things I love most about living here. It's a tranquil place and perfect for quiet times with the Lord. Thanks for not spilling the beans about Moses. Yep. That's his name. :)
DeleteThis sounds like a lot of fun, Anne. I just had to go over to Nancy's place and visit her, so happy that I did. I may try the R5F one of these days, should I not forget. Ha!
ReplyDeleteLovely photo, and I hope you capture some lightening.
My lips are sealed about your fish.
Have a blessed weekend~~
Debbie, my friend, you would love R5F! It's a lot of fun and Nancy is a fantastic hostess. We need to phone chat soon! Of course, we'll need to try and not laugh so much. I had a headache last time. ;)
DeleteHahaha! :) You have me laughing now. You silly girl! Yes, we need a phone chat soon.
DeleteLove you~~
Hello, Well I did learn a few new things about you! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI will check this link up out as it does sound easy! But it still may be more work then I can find time for; We just got a new puppy :o)
Hugs, Roxy
Hey Roxy! Oh, a new puppy...how fun!!! I'll have to hop over and see if you've posted any pictures. :)
DeleteYou're so lucky to be by the water (even if sand is involved). I hope you had some luck with the lightning. Lovely photo of a spring dawn.
ReplyDeleteAh Barb, it was not to be in the lightening arena. We only ended up with lots of heavy rain. :( Thanks for the kind word about my photo. Every morning, rain or sunshine, is a beauty here.
DeleteI can see why you love that view! Amazing how the water and sky just melt together.
ReplyDeleteIt is glorious! Thanks for stopping by :)
DeleteThe sound of the waves is so powerful! And it can lull me to sleep in short order!
ReplyDeleteYes! When we first moved in, we slept on the living room floor with the glass doors open so we could hear the water :)
DeleteHi Anne! I love your photo, and I really feel peaceful around water. I have often wondered if I would rather live by water, or on a mountain. Hmmm. I think I'll pick the water, even if it comes with sand :)
ReplyDeleteSunday blessings,
Ceil
Hey Ceil! I'm inclined to pick the water after living here. :)
DeleteBlessings for a lovely week!
You don't like sand? Lol! That could be an issue living on the beach. So nice that you joined up Anne -- hope to see you often at R5F. xo
ReplyDeleteI know, crazy, right?! So glad to see you back in blogland and I hope to join regularly. :) Thanks!!!
DeleteBeautiful shot Anne! Love your eye for the beauty around you... sunrises on the beach and sunsets on the beach, so amazing... but the sand, great on the beach, not so fun in the house, and cleaning up, lol! Know what you mean there! Have a wonderful day... and will look to see if you got that perfect shot of a lightening bolt :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Marilyn! Regretfully, there was only high winds and rain, no lightening. BooHoo :(
