2. I love dangle earrings because they...dangle.

3. Thankfully, my camera was between me and a spider that was under a mushroom I was photographing, because my face was c.l.o.s.e. And y'all know how I feel about spiders.

4. The target date to turn on the a/c is July 1, providing we don't have any days that are in the 90's.

  1. I hear you about the heat and the weight. Love the image above -- it does look like the ocean could be just over the horizon. :)

  3. That house DOES look like a beach house, yes!

  4. Anne,
I your picture does have a beachy feel to it.

We broke down and turned on the A/C for the first time yesterday. We had a windy 84*. The Rancher is NOT a fan of working outside all day and coming into a hot house. Me either.

  5. Great photo. I think it is the leaning of the trees that gives it a beachy feel -- wind blowing gently and the water is just over the horizon! My AC has been running for 3 weeks now ... I don't want to talk about the electric bill or weight! Have a great week.

  9. Anne, your photo is beautiful! And I agree, it does seem like you're at the beach :) So sorry about the spider. The other night I got in the shower and while shampooing my hair I looked up and guess what I saw....a big, black, and fat spider. Ugh, it was awful! And dangle earrings are the best :)

Enjoy your weekend. Hugs to you!

  11. It does look like a beach house!

I totally agree with you on number 2!

We have the a/c on most of the year here. We have already had plenty of 90 degree days.

  12. I love the dangle earrings too! :)

And the house in the picture resembles a beach house, i think. Not sure why that is, but it looks as though it should be surrounded by sand.

  13. I have lost thirteen pounds and it is a miracle. I have at least ten to go.I am petite and so have to keep my calorie intake under 1,000 but am finding out that I can eat well and be satisfied. I have to fight the chocolate demons cause they are trying to entice me... I like dangle earrings too..

  15. The house looks like it could be right among the houses along the shores of the Great Lakes that we admired last month. I hear waves coming from the other side of it!
I admire dangly earrings on other people - they look so stylish & fun.. however, I don't wear earrings at all. My piercings closed up a hundred and ten years ago.
No AC here.. we're keeping in the 70's mainly. But it is MUGGY today.
Weightloss.. oh, weight loss.. why can't we be friends?

  16. I like the color of that house. I could see that near a beach.
Hopefully, our weather will stay below the 90s. We need to replace our HVAC system, only the upstairs unit works, where we sleep, so far, so good!

  17. I thought beach when I first saw it too. Pretty. Do we get to see the spider and mushroom?

  18. Hi Anne ~~ Yes, I think it reminds me of a New England beach.
We always said that El Paso (back when we lived there) that it was all beach but there's no water.
And we've got lots of 90+'s here in the Houston area. EVERY DAY.
    ..
Sorry I'm so late in getting to your return visit. We went out of town for the Looonng weekend, to San Antonio.
