One of the many photos taken on a day trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains - a time of refreshment and renewal - during some extremely difficult days.
Always remembering that My God Reigns and my daughter is rejoicing in the arms of Jesus!

I'm touched by your photo and your words. So sorry for your loss, but blessed by your knowing her heaven joy. Have you read the true story called "Heaven is for Real?" (Beautiful testimony of a four year old who "went to heaven" when nearly dying in surgery) That book lifted my heart after my mom's death, made heaven seem just a breath away... God bless you and yours. Thanks again for stopping in at my site!
ReplyDeleteThank you , Pam, for your kind words.
DeletePraying blessings upon your family.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely photo and a powerful testimony of our hope in Christ.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Anne -- happy you are sharing with Rural Thursdays. xo
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and the Scripture just lifted me up this morning, wonderful way to begin the day :)

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo and scripture! May the wonderful memories of your time with your daughter comfort you.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty shot.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry for your loss! I see Amy's photo on your sidebar. Her photo is so pretty!
We have had a few children pass away in our family. It's not easy. My mom and sister are rare carriers of a genetic condition called Trisomy 18. Losing a child is difficult. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Absolutely! God bless you, her & your whole family! =)
ReplyDeleteYour photo reminds me of cool mist descending upon the hills. Even though I see the sun is brightly shining, it fills me with peace. Reading about Amy brings tears to my eyes and I pray that you and your family remain confident that you will see her once again in Heaven. Yes, Anne, rejoice! For our Lord truly reigns!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Felecia
Your photo and verse quotation brought me a moment of peace...just a slight sweet taste of heaven on earth. We have the future hope in heaven while we reside here on earth, but some are already tasting the full sweetness heaven has to offer. Blessings, Janice
ReplyDeleteI just ran into a blog that has the title Stuff AND Nonsense, but you don't have the URL. Are you familiar with the other blog? [a bit confusing huh].
ReplyDeleteThanks for you opinion of the 'fence quail'. It is so fun to hear everyone's choices. :D
o and I am joining yours, too. :D
ReplyDeleteHi Anne,

Hi Fellow Photo Meme participant, Just a quick note to let you know that starting tomorrow, I will begin hosting a new photo meme on my blog. Please come join me at "Orange You Glad It's Friday", and post a photo displaying a little or a lot of orange, my favorite color! Hope to see you there!
ReplyDeleteDaddy always likes to say, "I'm ready to go but I'm not homesick!" Dave, my husband, died in November 2011 and I miss him dreadfully yet, like you about Amy, rejoice he's in heaven, beyond pain and suffering.
ReplyDeleteAMEN Anne! You continue to be in my prayers - I am blessed to have met you on-line. Please know what an encouragement you are to me!! New follower :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Anne. Thank you for following my blog. I just want to warn you, I'm not really one The Vintage Dame anymore. I mainly use The Fictionista! Thanks!
