Tough job must be done ~ Rural Thursday

BTW- Big guy is very old. Very, very old. That's why he looks the way he does.
My neighbor, on the other hand, is actually 76 and works with the cows daily.
Quite an inspiration, isn't he?!

Images are mine. Please don't take them without asking. Not that anyone would want them. I'm just sayin'.

I'm linked with Rural Thursday.

  4. The bull looks quite good for his age, but I've never seen one with his hip bones stick out like that! I'm sure my father-in-law will be farming at that age too - keeps you young!

  5. That's awesome about your neighbor -- I only hope I'm in 1/2 as good a shape when I'm that age! :)

  6. I think it's always the way with farmers! My husband has been retired quite sometime but it's a job to keep him off the tractor! Love the cattle too, by the way. Joan

  7. I think my husband will be on a tractor until his last day. You can't take the farmer outta the man. ;-)

  8. Wow, what views of the countryside and cows! I'm west of Houston and see a little of this (minus the hills), but my drives are on freeways and suburban streets...not so scenic.

  9. I'm always inspired by the older generation who never seem to retire. I hope I'm still going at 76!
