They should never have built a barn there, at all -
Drip, drip, drip! - under that elm tree,
Though when it was young. Now it is old
But good, not like the barn and me.

Though when it was young. Now it is old
But good, not like the barn and me.

ReplyDeleteoh wow, love that! and the quote!
ReplyDeleteI love old barns. I love the quote too, as we have often said that same thing about where our barn was built! It is not under a drippy tree but in a natural flood area! We moved here not knowing that, of course, but discovered it shortly after the first downpour ;)
ReplyDeleteFabulous picture of the barn with the elm tree; great use of texture.
ReplyDeleteCharming barn and beautiful texture work! How exciting with Tuesday Muse and Barn Charm.. :)
ReplyDeletewouldn't it be great if that old barn could be turned into a home. Plenty of charm and plenty of shade. Perfect combo.
ReplyDeleteGood girl...changing your gravatar. I could find you immediately!! Yipee! As for this precious photo of yours...I can't believe this barn is still holding the weight of the elm tree? Great capture.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if it's actually an Elm tree :)

ReplyDeleteThanks, Y'all! Your comments mean so much to me. I am learning some lessons from this one. I didn't save a high resolution copy with the editing done before I re-sized the image and it is not print worthy. Plus, I didn't write down what I did to get it to look this way :(
ReplyDeleteGreat shot n edit.
