Hi Anne, I hope that this means you are feeling better. I have a Nikkon Coolpix P7800 and occasionally use the effects setting to take B&Ws. This products a grainy look which I sometimes like. I'm afraid that I need to get the manual out more often. Typically I'm a color guy, but I need to experiment a bit more. Nice shot! Tom The Backroads Traveller
Hi Tom, Yes, much better. I have been enjoying shooting in monochrome. I find that I am distracted lately by too much color, and I see the essence of the image better in b&w. Just getting outside my comfort zone :)
I did thoroughly enjoy all your colorful barns, though. They are spectacular!
What a terrific photo of that incredible barn! My parents have an old milking barn on their property that I am going to take down and use to panel my vintage garage that the 56 ford pick-up my father restored 30 some years ago will go in. Cherry Delight is the name of my new truck. I had to buy it when my parents had their estate sale. How could I allow just anyone to have what my father put many a day and hours into? Have a great evening, Debbie
Oh Debbie, That is so cool! Of course you had to buy the truck. And how neat that it will be in a vintage paneled garage from your dad's barn. What a delightful legacy. Blessings, Anne
Thanks, Stephanie! I just had to find a Christmas theme and I decided to use one of my photos for the banner. Of course, TCBB always has neat and festive backgrounds. :)
Gorgeous bokeh on your blog header and the words to one of my favorite Christmas hymns! And this barn photo, well, I've just never seen a barn I didn't love!
Awww...Thanks, Elizabeth! I appreciate your kind words. I was pretty pleased with the photo and decided to use it for my header. On occasion I get a good one :) O Come O Come Emmanuel is my FAVORITE Christmas hymn! And as for barns, I totally agree!
Good Evening, Anne. I was reading my comments on the last post I put up, and to my surprise I noticed your I con picture was different. What s beautiful photo of you!!!! Just sweet and precious, Anne.
