The Doctor’s Woman (A Carol Award Winner!)
Dakota Territory, 1862
Emmy Nelson, daughter of a missionary doctor, and Dr. James Clark, city doctor
aspiring to teach, find themselves working side by side at Fort Snelling during
the Dakota Uprising. That is when the real clash of ideals begins.
A House of Secrets
St. Paul, Minnesota, 1890
Ladies Aide Chairman, Amanda Carston resolves to clean up St. Paul’s ramshackle
housing, starting with the worst of the worst: a “haunted” house that’s

girls escape from the hands of the city’s most infamous madam.

My Review

STARS
Ladies
of Intrigue is another fascinating compilation
of three novellas with calculating characters and all kinds of shenanigans
going on. I was held captive by the words on the pages. How are these couples
going to survive treachery, brutality, and danger? Will they continue to rely
on God? Will they discover they can trust and depend on one another?
Griep is a master when it comes to creating realistic
situations. I found each story came to a satisfying conclusion without being
rushed. I highly recommend this novella collection to fans of suspense. The stories
are appropriate for any age and quick to read.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from
Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review.

I would love to win a copy. I love Novellas because I can read them rather quickly and they almost always have happily ever afters. Then again, sometimes I like them so much I want books made from the characters, so I am excited to read these and find out what I think. Thanks for the chance to win Anne!

hey Laura, Sometimes I don't have much time to get into a big book so novellas are perfect for that. I know what you mean by falling in love with the characters and wanting more, though. Thankfully, I think Michelle did a great job in wrapping all of these up.
